We build the platform. You keep the servers.
Forge exists because running software shouldn't mean renting someone else's computer forever.
Hosted platforms made deploying easy. They also made leaving hard. Your bill grows with every service, your data lives on their cloud, and their limits become your limits. Forge gives you the same ease on hardware you own. If you ever leave, your apps keep running.
Four rules we don't bend.
Your servers, your data
Forge installs one signed agent. Your code, databases and backups stay on your server and in your own storage bucket.
Evidence, not promises
We don't call something ready until it has passed a real check: health checks, restore drills and signed release verification.
Fail safe
When Forge can't prove something is safe, it stops and tells you. Your running app stays up while you fix it.
Plain words
No jargon walls. Every error says what went wrong and what to do next.
Every release is signed and drilled.
Here's what happens before a new Forge Agent reaches your server.
Each Agent release passes an interruption and recovery drill on real Ubuntu systemd hosts.
Builds for amd64 and arm64 are reproducible and signed with an Ed25519 release key.
Your server checks the signature, source revision, architecture, size and SHA-256 before it upgrades.
